It was an honor to be part of Shannon and Hassan's magical day. I was fortunate enough to be present along with John and Jennifer Moon of Nothernlight Filmworks when Hassan proposed to Shannon. Having had that experience with them their wedding day felt extra special to me. It is a rare opportunity to travel the entire wedding planning journey with two people. I really got to know them throughout the process. Hassan is an expert at Reis Nichols, my favorite jewelry store! Hassan helps couples everyday pick out the ring that will symbolize their love for the rest of their lives. Well, needless to say Shannon's ring is GORGEOUS. A reserve diamond designed with classic simplicity and elegance. I just love it!! He gifted her with pearls on the day of...the sparkly things will probably keep on coming the rest of their life together. Lucky Shannon!
Shannon is one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I have ever met. I could tell she is very close with her family. Her father passed away a few years ago so both of her brothers shared the honor of walking her down the aisle. Shannon's dad helped with a restoration project at Oak Hill Mansion so that is where they married. Shannon said through her tears that she could feel him in the walls. It was truly a celebration of love and life! Here are some of the images we captured that day. Thank you Shannon and Hassan for having me as part of your day. You deserve all the best!!
Shannon chose a dress Hassan said she would be perfect in at a Bridal Show. I thought that was sweet!
Cloud Nine was a great location for getting their hair and makeup done!
