Before Tom proposed to Lauren he created an e-mail address with his last name for her…that was how certain he felt she was the “one” for him. I have to say, I find this very romantic!! Lauren accidentally stumbled upon the e-mail address one day and called her sister a little excited. Time passed before he actually asked for her parents blessing and then proposed–these two are most certainly perfect for each other.  Monica describes these two as “Tall, athletic, gorgeous and brilliant…” Pretty much right!

I have been looking forward to their day for a LONG time since booking their wedding. I knew the details would be amazing with Monica Richard helping them with the design and planning of this amazing wedding experience.  She certainly left no stone unturned–which I always expect from her and her fabulous team of professionals.  Normally I have my two cents all at the beginning, but let me guide you through this amazing french provincial experience in the heart of Franklin, IN on Mimi and Papa’s farm.

An evening shot of Lauren and Tom–officially married in the fields…where else would you be on an Indiana summer?  The band was playing and the formalities complete and forever stashed in our memory bank with all the pretty and circumstance!

So I saw that they were putting makeup on Lauren and thought to myself, “does she even need it?”.  Her freckles, that flawless skin…what a blushing and HAPPY bride she was!  The morning was a flutter of activity, but Lauren had her healthy granola parfait, Courtney (her sister), Sloan (her niece) and Cindy (her mom) there to celebrate it all.  Since she was marrying “Tom” there was no question about having a pair of Toms herself and for her bridesmaids to change into for dancing!!  The jewelry from J Crew was a gift–I would have love to have been a bridesmaid–just saying.

The really special thing is Lauren’s purse, which her mother made by hand just for the wedding.  Oh and try not to drool, but their invitations were letter press from Pink Poppy Ink!

About to see dad for the first time…

Monica’s brainchild.  I will admit, sometimes I don’t understand what is being communicated to me in a meeting with a florist, planner, two grandparents, a mother-of-the-bride, a tent company and a production company….but WOW.  So WOW.  Glad it all turned out well…this ceremony was PERFECTLY romantic and memorable.

Swinging on the bench together.  I can’t make this stuff up, it just happens.  They had the most amazing property for their day and it was “rented’ and no other wedding had ever taken place there…just a memory to be shared only with their closest friends and family.  That is, of course, unless someday they have a beautiful daughter marry in the same place.  No pressure, but you would have the most adorable kids!!!

After the ceremony there was so much happy!!!  Papa stood by his tractor for a picture with Lauren.  After 8 months of maintaining the property to perfection I think he this moment was his to own!!  Mimi’s lemonade was heavenly…I might have had a cup or four.

Bob, I’ll let you comment and share your story on the image below!!!  All I have to say is, I love an adventure, even if it does mean risking my life for a shot!

The toasts were thoughtful, funny and not stolen from the internet.  John Hopkins was amazing (yes, you heard that right) and Courtney is the sister I wish I had!
