It’s been such a long time since I have blogged and as I was perusing my long list of weddings to be shared on the world wide web I couldn’t stop looking at this wedding. Not only were Sara and Chad so fun to work with (with a great sense of humor!), but their details were amazing. Sara is from England and incorporated so many wonderful english traditions such as Welsh cheese imported just for the wedding and some traditional English food. Ok, so look at their main wedding cake??? This is possibly the most beautiful wedding cake I have ever photographed. The veining and detail work is absolutely superb!! A detail I treasured–being completely smitten with Prince William and his gorgeous Duchess of Cambridge, was a little cake Sara’s relatives traveled from England for the wedding with made by the same baker that made Kate and William’s wedding cake! That was pretty exciting and I did have a piece–have to admit, have you ever had Boston Baked Bread? That is exactly what it tasted like–not what I was expecting. Sara works for Hoaglin and took some time to “kiss the cook” as the food was perfect! Sara and Chad sent their guests home with english jam, cream and scones. Such a loving and beautifully packaged gift to share with everyone!
