Jordyn is so lucky to get to capture these two on their wedding day!! These two looked like they stepped out of a Ralph Lauren ad! One of the sweetest most easy going, genuine couple they met at IU through mutual friends.
Lauren grew up in New Jersey, but her parents and family are from here. Jordyn photographed the engagement session at Lauren’s grandparent’s farm. Many great memories have been had there! Her Grandpa has a garage full of old cars, that was unfortunately locked when they were there, but stay tuned for awesome vintage car shots from their wedding coming up in September!

How cute are these two? They are just so darling and so in love. We were lucky to have such beautiful weather all winter, and this day was no exception. Courtney has really fantastic taste and together with CCP Tonya Shadoan created a stunning reception at the Crowne Plaza in Union Station’s Grand Hall. A classic twist, Courtney opted for long banquet style tables, which added an extra dose of elegance. It was a beautiful day!
Bryce proudly serves our country in the U.S. Airforce and after a long time of being apart they are now enjoying married life in Texas. Congratulations to you both and best wishes out west!

Jordyn so enjoyed working with Sarah and Kyler! Both graduates of Purdue they met in college and fell in love! The wedding day was so fun and what great weather they had. The Ritz is such a great place to have a wedding. Everything is so convenient and effortless. How adorable are Sarah’s Kate Spade shoes? Enjoy this wedding and many more blogs to come soon!

Jordyn had the honor of capturing Dave and Christy’s amazingly fun wedding. I have to say, I’ve fallen in love with these two just from the pictures, but the few times Christy has visited the studio I can see her sparkling personality is contagious. Best friends and now husband and wife, Stephen and Lindsay celebrated their day surrounded by their friends and family. Jordyn did a wonderful job capturing their tender moments. When we first met Stephen and Lindsay we were both struck by how young and in love they are. I love when a couple is SO excited to become husband and wife! Daisies and soft details with a bit of whimsy perfectly fits this day. I love the bit of yellow they incorporated!

Jordyn was such a lucky photographer to spend the day with Kathryn, Ted and their beautiful new family! I have know Ted for over a decade and when I heard that he and Kathryn were getting married I was so excited! These two have been through a lot over the years and have both spent a lot of time dedicated to their children. Ted has a son with Down Syndrome, Ben. Ben is a child who’s smile lights up a room as with most Down children. I know part of society sees this condition as a “handicap” and yes, there are some challenges, but the joy and pure innocence that down syndrome brings to us changes the world for the better. Kathryn has also been blessed with a beautiful little girl with down syndrome. She has three daughters who are amazing and I’d have to say that Ben is pretty lucky to live in a house with all these pretty girls! I think he knows it too:) I’m thrilled to see my friend sharing life’s journey with such a special woman. Congratulations Kathryn, Ted, Ben, Micah, Karinne and Reagan!

Jessica and Nick are Jordyn’s second wedding to be featured in Indy South Magazine. Here is a little bit about their day in the bride’s own words:
“Nick and I went to the same high school and had a couple classes together. He is two years older than I am so we knew of eachother but weren’t really friends. We both played soccer in high school and ended up going to Indiana University. My freshman year of college we played on a co-ed intramural soccer team together and became friends. We continued as friends through the summer between my freshman and sophomore year, and when we went back to school my sophomore year we started dating in November 2006.
About three months before our 4 year anniversary, on August 29th 2010, Nick proposed. Nick made it a huge surprise so that I would have no clue it was coming, and picked out the ring all on his own! It was a wonderful whirlwind that I had no idea was coming. On Saturday morning Nick went to my parents house and asked their permission, and Sunday morning he picked me up for a planned picnic. He proposed that Sunday morning during our private and intimate picnic in a park. It was perfect!”
