I am SO excited to be working with Meredith and Jason. They have such great style and LOVE pictures as much as I do. It was surreal walking Chicago with two beautiful people and absolutely perfect weather! I love that city even on a rainy day, but with the day we had it was unbelievable for shooting. These two are so romantic…their wedding day is going to be so unbelievable. They plan on having a “tea” in between ceremony and reception, which sounds so sweet. I’m picturing an english garden with roses and sheer fabric tenting with water fountains and loads of flowers everywhere…spring/summer can’t come soon enough!

Amy and David….oh my! I first met Amy at Erin and Nate’s wedding a couple of years ago and she was by far the most FUN bridesmaid I had ever met and so incredibly gorgeous. I secretly hoped she would call me when it was her time to tie the knot! I think I remember some cartwheels happening after I got a phone call from her. They are so cute together!! I will be posting their gorgeous fall wedding very soon. For now enjoy this super fun engagement session!

How cute are these two? Julie and Martin are a perfect fit together. We had a fun time in downtown Indianapolis visiting some of their favorite spots in our great city. Some of the best shots were after we let Martin “take over” the shoot. I can’t wait for their wedding with event designer and coordinator Darcie from CCP.

I’m really excited for Mary and Shawn’s wedding this winter. Secretly I’m hoping for a dusting of snow across their gorgeous farm. I can see this beautiful bride in white with her amazing red hair in contrast to all white snow and her gorgeous gown. One thing that struck me when I was photographing Mary and Shawn is how HAPPY they are together. I don’t think Mary can do anything but smile when she is around Shawn. They respect each other so much and find absolute joy in each other’s company. I felt so good when I left their session because being around people who love each other so much is inspiring. This wedding day will be very special and it’s an extra bonus that David Jackson of Premier Events is designing and coordinating their gorgeous church ceremony and reception. I always look forward to capturing David’s designs because they truly are stunning.

I can’t wait for Jessie and Stefan’s wedding next month. When I first met Jessie and Stefan I was really struck by how much he cares and takes care of her. Jessie is in medical school and busy going through her rotations so life is really busy for her! They fit just perfectly together. Not only are they beautiful together, but they have a very talented coordinator, Monica Richard. On their beautiful wedding day I can only imagine how gorgeous all of the details they have been working on over the past year are going to be. Looking forward to our second shoot next week!

I consider myself very lucky to be a part of Alissa and Justin’s wedding. They have been dating for over 9 years and are finally ready to get married. The wedding is going to be truly elegant/rustic on their family farm. I had a blast capturing their engagement session!

Genie and Scott are getting married this Friday! I am SO happy to be their photographer and can’t wait to capture their gorgeousness. We had a recent engagement session and Genie looked at Scott and said, “He’s pretty sexy, I think I’ll marry him”. I’m glad she said yes. They have been dating for quite a while and I know how thrilled their friends and family are to share this day with them.

Scott and Jennifer are so entertaining together! Spending time with them is kind of like being on a movie or theater set, which is great because that is how they met! These two come with lots of tricks in their pockets and much enthusiasm for life and most importantly LOVE. I feel like I walked backwards in time to the 50s when people were a little bit more carefree and unburdened by technology (did I say these two do NOT have Facebook accounts?? Close your jaw now).
I can’t wait for their wedding because I know it will be an imaginative and inventive expression of how they feel for each other. Thanks for choosing me to be part of your day!
