I’m so lucky to get to hang out with little Everett…oh and Blue II, of course:) Blue’s dad, Michael, and I have collaborated on a few sessions. Those of you receiving mail from Butler might have noticed the recent “wow” factor to Blue’s picture now that he is a professional model. He doesn’t drool as much as he used to and can tolerate sitting for long periods of time. He does occasionally like to speak his mind while in front of the camera, but I don’t mind and obviously neither did little Everett. I’m so honored to be Blue’s photographer!
Blue II went for a walk with my parents, who were visiting during the shoot, so I could focus on Everett (no pun intended there…). They took him for ice cream and many of the patrons at Handel’s said, “Gosh, he looks just like the Butler bulldog, Blue”. Indeed! Thanks, Michael and Tiffany for sharing your family with me!! I look forward to seeing you guys again sometime.

Hey Tiff,
Your little man is adorable! And Blue looks good too!
Miss you at work!
You all look very happy! :-)

Just a beautiful family! It is the love you see with the 4 of them that is most awesome.
Wonderful! They both look fantastic. :)
Everett is such a beautiful baby. Blue is beyond adorable. What a great looking family.
This is too cute! Makes you want to give Baby Bro and Blue a kiss!!

As some of you may have noticed we are phasing into a new look here at JDP. In between weddings, adorable babies, portrait sessions and some of the unique and really amazing commercial jobs we have been rearranging and freshening everything up for spring. My office is moving into a different room, the sales room is moving to a larger room and we are expanding our staff just a little bit…introducing the newest member here at JDP. Bennett Charles
The son of Jordyn and Matt, Bennett Charles, is going to be our watchdog for Albert, the robin who constantly pecks and flies into our back window. I’m confident that once his bird hunting skills are fully matured he will be victorious and we will have peace at the studio once again. He really is the sweetest little guy, so soft and fluffy. We all love him very much and are so happy for Jordyn and Matt. Their first child!!
Both Jordyn and I have been so very busy capturing many smiling faces and some amazing weddings. Now that our move into the new studio is complete and we have each settled into our little niche we are able to truly relax and enjoy each and every client, shoot and still have time to laugh and enjoy just being together in the studio (along with Erica!). I’m looking forward to completing the last part of our transition–the websites and complete rebranding of our senior portraiture.
Now onto more pictures of Bennett!! I just can’t get enough of him. It is so hard to WORK when he is at the studio because he is so hard to resist. I know in a few short months he will be a teenager and we will miss this puppy stage.

What a wonderful morning! Jen, you rocked it again… We had a blast and so glad to have documented the puppy stage. It goes too quick!
So cute! Love the backgrounds, beautiful. The bowtie adds a nice touch!

Maui is not only a beautiful place to be, but a beautiful dog as well! Jake and Anne are two of the sweetest people I know and I was so happy to meet Maui, their furry child. Maui is more than 10 years old! For a woman this age (in dog years) she looks pretty darn good:)

Awww, Jennifer you did such a good job with these three! I can’t wait for you to shoot their wedding!

Merry Christmas! Some of you might remember Roxy from her puppy love session….she was obsessed with toilet paper. Now she has gotten into the Christmas lights! Rebecca and Clint are enjoying married life so much! They are the greatest puppy parents ever!

I can’t wait to capture McKenzie and Nick’s little one in a few weeks! Molson is actually a cousin to our dog. He is SO sweet and just spunky enough to be all puppy, but so well-behaved. I really enjoyed my session with them and McKenzie is a GORGEOUS pregger:)

Hello Everyone! Ok, so I couldn’t resist bringing these little guys in the studio today. In a week I want to play with them again and add more lights, but this was our “warm-up” session. Total chaos with three kids and 5 cats, but it was so fun. All are still available, but Nancy is getting some interest and has some appointments setup and it would be great if they could all find a home soon. They are so wonderful and totally adoptable! Thanks for your interest:) Contact me if you are in need of a furry friend.

Jennifer,
You really brought out the cutest qualities of these kitties. You may have discovered the next Garfield. Thanks for all of your help in finding them good homes.
Gretchen
I cannot get over how cute these kittens are! I think my cat Jack could use a friend…:)
Rhaya, please feel free to try one! Jack could get along with one I am sure. They are all very sweet. Two have been adopted–possibly and so that leaves three. First come, first serve, but honestly they are all sweet and very adoptable! Nancy needs to keep them for another week and then they are free to go “home”.
Thanks Jennifer. I will definitely think about it.
Gretchen, I am so glad you are giving “Gina” a good home! She is one lucky kitty. As Nancy says, “she hit kitty lottery”… :)
Ok, everyone. The grey and white one still needs a home! He is the only one left. I can’t believe it either because he is my favorite one. I wish Betty would love another cat, but she is too set in her ways.

When our old neighbor got their boat out for the season they found a litter of five multi-colored kittens. I find it amazing that one litter can have 5 DIFFERENT colored kittens. Today my best friend Nancy and I with the help of our 5 children had a mini-shoot with the kittens so everyone can see how cute they are and hopefully we can find a good home for them. If you know of anyone who wants a kitten this is a great opportunity. There are 4 males and one female (the calico). I am partial to the grey and white guy…well, actually I love them all. We already have a kitty and she would be mad if we brought another home:) If you are interested please e-mail me and I’ll put you in touch with Nancy. They are all dewormed, shots, etc. Nancy does things right, she rescues all the time!

Hi, this is Nancy: If you are interested in the kittens, you can contact me directly at:
Jennifer!!!! I trapped the mom of these kittens and oh! my! Goodness!! what beautiful photos and such a great idea. Do you mind if I send them to our feral line? Thanks so much for doing this..wish you could do this for all the homeless cats..thanks, Phebe
Hi Nancy!
I’ll post these on Petfinder and soon we can get them spayed/neutered too. They sure tamed up nicely:)
Jennifer, thank you for this, this is exceptional!
Phebe,
It is my pleasure to feature the kitties! I hope they all find a home. If I had room for one more I’d love the calico or grey and white one…they are all precious. My cat isn’t much of a cat lover though, she likes to fly solo:)
Jennifer
Jennifer,
Do you realize that the reason kittens in the same litter can look so different is because they can all have different fathers? Sounds crazy but it is true!
Beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing!
