Nixon Perry
I just love it when new life visits the studio! Nixon Perry arrived on December 9, 2009 and am so happy to share his images with everyone. I met Heather during a cover shoot for Indy’s Child and saw her little bump (and she is so tiny!). I am so happy she brought Nixon back to visit us. We love new babies and love it even more when they are really tiny like Nixon! Thanks Heather and Josh:)

Katie and Shawn
I can’t wait for their wedding!! I just love these two.
I’ve known Katie’s family for quite a while and her mom is one of the most amazing women. She makes quilts from clothing…memory quilts. I am having quilts made for my girls out of their baby clothing when they get married and I had a quilt made from my brother, Timmy’s, clothing. Many of you know we lost Timmy to a car accident when he was 17 years old 5 years ago on New Year’s Eve. The quilt Marlene made means so very much to us.
Shawn is so caring and loving towards Katie. I just know they are going to be so very happy. Enjoy your last Christmas as an engaged couple! Such a very special time for you both.

Jennifer, you have such a wonderful eye for the subtle moments. Nothing overdone, everything genuine and just right. After seeing your great work (and work style) at Sarah and Matt’s wedding last year, I was thrilled Brooke said you’d be taking care of her wedding photos too – knew she’d have beautiful moments captured. Merry Christmas, newlyweds! xo

Jordan-inspired vintage shoot
When I met with Jordan I knew we would have a great time shooting together. She wanted an authentic and very vintage shoot and not the “vintage” that is a huge trend right now. Our inspiration was the one and only Audrey Hepburn. She has always been a person I have looked up to and thanks to Jordan I now have her picture hanging above my desk for daily reminders of what a classy lady is all about. Love it! These are just a few of the images we got, there are so many more I will definitely update our senior site with www.f8seniors.com

I have been invited to a new association of photographers chosen from a highly selective list of over 5000 wedding photographers from around the world. The selection and invitation was sent to 350 photographers from around the planet. The panel of photographers on the Review board included David Beckstead, Ben Chrisman, Del Sol Photography (Matt Adcock and Sol Tamargo), Glen Johnson, Anna Kuperberg, Crash Taylor, and David Ziser.
I am greatly humbled and excited to be a part of this special opportunity!

Jennifer and Ryan
I knew right away I was going to love these two. Jennifer came with a bag full of anthropologie for their engagement session! They are both so humble and kind, perfect for each other. Jennifer is a designer and they live up in Chicago. Big city living, but they are having their wedding here in Indianapolis. I can’t wait for their wedding in July! I hope you both enjoy the holidays as an engaged couple. This is such a special time for you!

Nathan, Grace and Luke
I am so lucky to have watched them grow since they were teeny tiny babies! This was one of our best shoots yet. I love how their personalities are coming out more each year. This year was a big one because they started school…such a big step. I cried when Dianna sent me a picture of all three kids walking into school with their backpacks on. Onto a new adventure now that they are school bound! Merry Christmas Gregg, Dianna, Nathan, Grace and Luke. I love you all.

Those three are so so cute! Nathan’s face in the “peace, hope, and love” kills me! He looks so serious!

Awaiting Scarlett
Mom and dad are so gorgeous. I can’t wait to meet Scarlett! You might remember Courtney and Rob from their wedding 2 years ago. Courtney started out as a bride and is now a dear friend and my Emily’s piano teacher. Musical genius and a sweetheart! Rob is going to be the BEST dad. He takes such good care of Courtney and they are both so excited to meet their little girl soon. I am so excited for you both and happy to be a part of your life!

We often think to document important milestones in our lives, weddings, babies, seniors, etc. One of the most joyous times for me to capture is a “love session”. What a thoughtful gift Laura had for her parents who have been married for 30 years. Congratulations!

Marina and Adam
It’s been about a year that we have been getting to know each other and I am so blessed to have Marina and Adam in my life. I’d love to share their entire love story with you, but I think the pictures say it all. They have known each other forever and conquered a lot together over the years. Now they are husband and wife and SO very excited about it! Notre Dame was the perfect place for them to marry. It was an honor to photograph Adam on the steps in front of the golden dome that is reserved only for those who graduate. Students enter through the back door until they graduate. They earn those steps! So many sentimental details. I could add a dozen more pictures, but here are a few to enjoy for now. Jordyn and I had a great time in
South Bend. We enjoyed hot chocolate at the South Bend Chocolate Company each morning and after the wedding sat at a small wine bar to watch the game and unwind, but Notre Dame didn’t win that night. Marina and Adam, thank you so very much. I can’t wait to photograph your first baby and see you again in Chicago! Much love, Jennifer

It would seem impossible, but somehow you managed to capture the absolute joy and happiness of Adam and Marina’s day. The photos are exquisite; each more lovely than the next. I send you my most heart-felt gratitude.
