Weddings
Wedding season is in full swing here at JDP! I took two weekends off mid-August and am excited to get back at it this weekend. It is such a fantastic thing to share the happiest day ever with two people in love and capture them looking their best! As I was going through images for inspiration last night I came across these. Have a great weekend everyone! Yay sun!

I love this image. See how Michelle is looking up at him? This was one of the most intimate and moving ceremonies ever.

Scott and his best man. Scott was so fun!
This next set of images is an engagement session shot in New Orleans down in the French Quarter. Just love Hector and Beth!!

The Swann Family
I loved everything about this shoot! We were smart and scheduled early in the morning so the heat didn’t wear us down. Evan is about the HAPPIEST one year old I have ever met. He was so smiley that wonderful images were effortless and plentiful. Dungy the dog is art, I just love him! It isn’t every dog you can sneak by security at the IMA:) Don’t you just love this family? They are so happy and a lot of fun. I can’t wait to get started making all sorts of things with these! Thanks Stephanie, your family is amazing.

I love Dungy

No wonder their son is so cute. Look at mom and dad!

What an amazing experience I had today at the hospital with these special kids. I don’t even have words to describe the day…pictures are best.

Dogs and Cakes
So Emily was home sick from school today, which is sad to see. They are so sweet when they are sick though! I have enjoyed working from home and watching over her. I was talking with a client/friend and when she heard that Emily wasn’t feeling well about 2 hours later I heard my doorbell ring and this was waiting for Emily:
Isn’t it so cute? Young and Jessica really brought a smile to Emily’s face! She isn’t well enough to enjoy eating it, but she sure does enjoy knowing it is there when she feels better. Thanks for being such great friends! It was amazing sharing your wedding day with you and I am grateful for your presence in my life.
Speaking of cake…came across these of Lilliana from a few years ago. Mom wanted to order some more so we got them out of the archives and wow! So cute!

Jessica and Patrick
So in love…the way they touch each other and look at each other is amazing. I didn’t even need to meet Patrick to know how much he treasures his bride. He was full of surprises and so attentive towards Jessica from the start. I am thrilled to have been part of their day together!! Hope NY was awesome! Their family is awesome, btw!

This one is my favorite from the day!

Sure have been a lot of babies in the studio these days. I am loving it! Here are a few faces for the weekend. Jessica, Young’s wife, brought this little one in as a gift to his parents. Such a treat and look at that HAIR. Oh my goodness!
Quinn is the daughter of Lindsay and Keith. I shot their wedding years ago and it is such a pleasure to see their adorable baby! Little Bryan is Young’s cousin. More on these two later:)

Corvettes and Kids
Two of my favorite things to shoot! The Johnson family and I had so much fun during their family session. This is the first time they have had a candid portrait session EVER. Whew! What adorable kids and how lucky we were to find some cool “toys” for them to play with. Thanks so much, we can’t wait to see you in the studio for a design session to help you decorate your home in cuteness.

Beautiful! Happy One Year Anniversary Deborah and Stanley! Best Wishes!
