Jeri & Joshua featured

It is always an honor to share in a wedding day, but often I am privileged to witness some of the most elegant and unique weddings in beautiful places.  Joshua and Jeri’s wedding day was definitely one of my favorites from 2008.  One of the most valuable online bridal resources, Style Me Pretty, thinks that Jeri & Joshua’s day was pretty special too as they are featuring it.  West Baden is full of grandeur and elegance–a perfect match to Jeri and Joshua’s exquisite taste!  Congratulations to you both.  Your wedding is an inspiration.

Triple the fun

Brand0n, Alex and Lila.  Oh my GOODNESS!  I could have spent all day with these three and just might have to go back for more.  How blessed Sam and Abby are to have such three little cherubs.  They were so fun to photograph.  It is amazing how much a personality can shine at only a few weeks old.  Thanks so much for having me out!perry3perry-copy

Almost one year!  Jordyn was going through weddings and felt inspired and reliving their day was a great one!  Here is our Sarah and Matt “real wedding”.  They now have a dog named Ollie and have bought their first house.  Many changes in their first year!  Getting inspired for spring weddings approaching!  Have a beautiful weekend, everyone.Sarah and Matt

Nicholas

Two years ago I shot Melissa and Thomas’ wedding at Columbia Club.  It was a great day and I feel so happy for them that now they have a 4 month old baby boy, Nicholas.  Patti, ever the doting grammy, called in for a sitting when the new family visited Indy this past weekend.  It is so rewarding to capture the joy on a wedding day and see the love grow into a family.  I am so happy for you both.  I can’t get over what a HAPPY baby Nicholas is.  He is amazing!  We shot for an hour, which at that age, can sometimes be tricky.  He didn’t cry once.  He loves his attention and gets plenty of it.  Thanks guys for sharing him with me.  He is wonderful as are the two of you!img_5964-2-copyimg_5968-3-copyuntitled-1

Opera Singer Katie Mozack

Posted by jennifer in Commercial, Portrait on March 19th, 2009 No Comments »

She is amazingly talented and beautiful.  It was such a thrill working with Katie. When she told me directors sometimes don’t see the “menacing character” in her, but those are the roles she LOVES to play I was up to the challenge of portraying her as such.  I love drama and theater.  There is nothing better than a fantastic production with wonderful talent taking you away to another world for an evening.  Real theater helps us dream, reconnects us with our emotions and I wish more people would take the time to get out and watch a play or a musical or visit the opera house to move their soul.  In a world where we are constantly “connected” we are disconnecting with our souls.  I know I need time to regroup myself and find the center after a long day of internet contact.  Here she is….Katie Mozack.villian girlmozack-39-copymozack-45-copymozack-18-copy

United Way

What a great group of people they are to work with.  I have been fortunate to shoot quite a bit with United Way recently.  They are a great organization that does a lot of good and they certainly know how to throw a party!  Here are some images from a recent luncheon at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.

Give Advocate Volunteer was the theme.  Thanking all of those who have given so much time, talent and treasure.united

Gracen, Keller and Ellison Kate

Posted by jennifer in Babies, Portrait on March 18th, 2009 No Comments »

What can I say?  I just LOVE her.  Love big brother and sister.  Such an honor to have photographed these kids since the start.  She is so beautiful, just like her mom!  We shot in their home.  I really enjoy traveling, especially when it is for babies.  What a great way to have a relaxed shoot (and super convenient for a new mom). Contact the studio to learn more about location shoots.

Ellyson KateMichelle’s kids have the greatest HAIR!  Since birth Gracen has always had a bow to help tame the wild mane.  Michelle said Gracen is so used to having a bow in her hair (you should see the collection, fun!) that one night when Keller was sick and they needed to take him to the doctor they left in a hurry and forgot the bow.  Before leaving Gracen said, “Mommy, I have no bow in my hair!”.  Michelle laughed and explained that it was OK…going to the hospital is a good excuse to forget the bow.  Too cute!  IT would have taken my kids ten years to grow their hair out like Gracen’s.  I just LOVE it.  So happy Ellison Kate has arrived.  They are such an awesome family.

Nolan and his furry siblings

Posted by jennifer in Family, Pets, Portrait on March 18th, 2009 No Comments »

When Kristi called me to come and hang out with her family I was delighted to find many furry friends at the house!  Kristi does some amazing work helping rescue animals.  What an inspiration she is!

Nolan was terribly fun.  I love it when kids have a spunky personality.  It makes for great pictures!Sturwold Familypg006
