Dana and Peter’s day was very sentimental and filled with a quiet and moving joy. Their love is truly passionate and I really admire how they both soak life up as it is happening, in the moment…a lesson I can never get enough of (being type A). Because their hearts are so big they chose to marry at the Joy House in Broad Ripple, which is a day home for adults with disabilities. Surrounded by the most special people in their life they married under a large tree with the most magical music and personal vows. Thank you both for sharing your day with me! Also, at the end of this post the greatest compliment I have ever received…thank you, Dana.

My second shoot with little Evan and he is all grown up! I think these pics speak for themselves and I can’t wait for baby to arrive! Stephanie and John are so happy and positive and Beansie is the bestest dog ever:)

When Kim called me for a shoot I was so excited. I last captured the kids years ago at a wedding. Kim is pretty good with a camera herself and is just as pretty in front of the lens:) The kids were great sports in the heat and especially getting in front of the train!

Jennifer and Bill

I have had so many comments and emails asking about Jennifer and Bill’s wedding. Bride’s wanting to know where she got her dress and the bridesmaid dresses, who did the flowers, etc. How cool are the colors they chose? Jen and Bill were so great to work with from the start. On the day of the wedding we had rain, then no rain, then rain again and thunderstorms. Jennifer was the calmest bride I’ve ever seen. Their ceremony and reception were outside at Deer Manor in Bloomington. Despite the dramatic weather Jennifer and Bill had the most romantic ceremony under a big tree and then a joyful reception with some awesome music, food and dancing. I wish you both many years of happiness together!

Kulyan and Family

I was so fortunate to be part of Piper and Dev’s wedding day. They had a beautiful Indian-American day downtown at the Westin. It was such a joy to visit them in their home with their entire family and meet their son, Kulyan. He is so full of personality and surrounded by the love of family. The girls have grown to be so beautiful! I love spending time with them, thanks for having me out! I can’t wait to see Kulyan again soon.

It was a great honor to share in Katie and Brian’s wedding. Because their wedding is going to be featured I can’t share many images, but here is a sneak peek. I’ll post a list of their wedding professionals as well as more images once the magazines have what they need. J Scot Reid was their planner and did a fabulous job coordinating everything and everyone! Katie and Brian are going to have the cutest kids EVER someday. They compliment each other perfectly and are two of the most adorable personalities I have ever spent time with. Just love them! Thank you so much for having me as part of your wedding day. It truly was an honor!

So Ashley Manning is adorable with GREAT taste and there is a great opportunity to spend an evening with her previewing some of the hottest jewelry and fashion designers while giving to a good cause. Reis Nichols and I will definitely be there to support the Peyback Foundation as the work they do is really great and the runway show will be spectacular. If you would like to come that would be great! Tickets are $100 and again benefit a GREAT cause and it is sure to be a very fun evening. See you there!

Emily – Yorktown High Class of 2011

She knows what she wants in life and plans to go to law school. Beautiful, vibrant and headed for greatness it was such a joy spending time with Emily and her mom, Kim. We went ALL OVER shooting as she had the ultimate design session planned. Emily knew she wanted to look her best so had Dawne Swain come to the studio and work her magic with makeup and hair, not that Emily needed much of either. Dawne is really amazing at creating a natural look so girls don’t feel as if they have it “caked” on, but I’ve seen her crazy funky styling and that is fun as well! For seniors booking we now offer makeup services with Dawne. Having an artist there to create a look really adds a certain punch the images. Enjoy your senior year, Emily!

It is that time of year again and how happy I was to share in Emily’s special shoot. Love her red hair (the whole family shares that beautiful trait). I know this year is going to be full of adventure and fun. Emily is so ready for all the world has to offer her and is going to succeed in anything she chooses to do (I’m rooting for physical therapy, Emily!). Go class of 2011!
