Ten Thirteen Design

Posted by jennifer in Bridal, Commercial on June 28th, 2010 2 Comments »

I was so excited when Jackie from Ten Thirteen Design came to me for her product photography. I love all things pretty and have an obsession with paper products. Invitations, labels, ribbons and sparkly really catch my eye. We both had the same vision, which worked really well. If you need invitations or paper products of any kind, Jackie is a great person to work with. She is patient and genuinely loves what she does. Thanks, Jackie! Love the new site!1013

Jingle Bell Run

Posted by jennifer in Commercial, Studio News on November 5th, 2009 No Comments »

Last year I had the honor of capturing the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run.  It was so fun and I can’t wait to be part of it this year.  Arthritis strikes those of all ages and can be quite debilitating.  Join us this year on December 12 at 8:15 am at the Indiana State Museum and support a great cause.Poster Proof

Carolyn

As an artist I relate to many different forms of art.  Carolyn and I have been friends for quite some time now and really get along well (thanks to Jon from Ecologik for introducing us).  Being close in age and spirit we find a lot in common with each other and “just get it”.  So when Carolyn called me to say she wanted to do a different sort of shoot exploring who she is as an artist I was game.  We had fun.  Her art is sensual, exciting and “happy”, which is an inventive combination!  She is an encaustic painter, works with beeswax, which smells heavenly!  She is very thoughtful about life and one of the best friends I have.  Thanks for sharing yourself with me, Carolyn!  Annie and I enjoyed the session.img_0305-9-copy

Summer Horse Camp

Posted by jennifer in Commercial, Studio News on May 14th, 2009 No Comments »

All you parents out there that want an educational and awesome camp IN FISHERS to send your kids to check out www.summerhorsecamp-fishers.com.  These two wonderful and responsible girls have put together an awesome opportunity for our children to enjoy a week of crafts, swimming and horse lessons in a safe and comfortable environment. Selfishly, I am pushing for registration the week of June 21.  They might have to cancel camp if we don’t get more attendees, which would be so sad!!  The farm is located at 126th and Olio.  Let’s fill this camp up for Audrie and Bailey!!  Audrie is a freshman majoring in business at IU and Bailey is a Jr. at University HS and a certified lifeguard.

A picture of a horse…won an award a few years ago for this one.   T-max BW film for those of you who remember what that is.44600073

Opera Singer Katie Mozack

Posted by jennifer in Commercial, Portrait on March 19th, 2009 No Comments »

She is amazingly talented and beautiful.  It was such a thrill working with Katie. When she told me directors sometimes don’t see the “menacing character” in her, but those are the roles she LOVES to play I was up to the challenge of portraying her as such.  I love drama and theater.  There is nothing better than a fantastic production with wonderful talent taking you away to another world for an evening.  Real theater helps us dream, reconnects us with our emotions and I wish more people would take the time to get out and watch a play or a musical or visit the opera house to move their soul.  In a world where we are constantly “connected” we are disconnecting with our souls.  I know I need time to regroup myself and find the center after a long day of internet contact.  Here she is….Katie Mozack.villian girlmozack-39-copymozack-45-copymozack-18-copy

What a great group of people they are to work with.  I have been fortunate to shoot quite a bit with United Way recently.  They are a great organization that does a lot of good and they certainly know how to throw a party!  Here are some images from a recent luncheon at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.

Give Advocate Volunteer was the theme.  Thanking all of those who have given so much time, talent and treasure.united
