Katie and Brian

It was a great honor to share in Katie and Brian’s wedding. Because their wedding is going to be featured I can’t share many images, but here is a sneak peek. I’ll post a list of their wedding professionals as well as more images once the magazines have what they need. J Scot Reid was their planner and did a fabulous job coordinating everything and everyone! Katie and Brian are going to have the cutest kids EVER someday. They compliment each other perfectly and are two of the most adorable personalities I have ever spent time with. Just love them! Thank you so much for having me as part of your wedding day. It truly was an honor!stamirk1stamir4katiebrian

Ten Thirteen Design

Posted by jennifer in Bridal, Commercial on June 28th, 2010 2 Comments »

I was so excited when Jackie from Ten Thirteen Design came to me for her product photography. I love all things pretty and have an obsession with paper products. Invitations, labels, ribbons and sparkly really catch my eye. We both had the same vision, which worked really well. If you need invitations or paper products of any kind, Jackie is a great person to work with. She is patient and genuinely loves what she does. Thanks, Jackie! Love the new site!1013

With the kids out of school and wedding season in full swing we are in photo heaven at JDP. I have so many shoots to share, but here is a teaser of a bridal shoot I had today with the lovely Lisa Hiers and her talented stylist sister, Dawne Swain. Look forward to seeing some amazing wedding invitations by Jackie Bilskie as well as tons of family sessions and weddings in the next few days. Jordyn is now back from her awesome honeymoon so we should get caught up pretty quickly.hiers-2hiers-5

Lee & Ashley

Posted by jennifer in Bridal, Jennifer's Weddings, Wedding on January 26th, 2010 No Comments »

As a photographer I really connect with my clients and enjoy looking back on their images.  Lee and Ashley are really special to me.  They somehow found each other all the way across the globe.  Ashley has now moved to Australia and has settled into life as an Aussie.  She even has an accent now!  I just found this image the other day and it made me smile.  Their wedding was in her grandparent’s backyard with signage that Ashley used when she was a little girl pretending to own a horse farm.  I think I’ll make a slideshow from this wedding to share as it has been a few years.  Looking at anything sunny right now is nice, right?  Ok, just one for now!  I’m off to pick out flooring for the new studio. Nothing more fun than decorating a space, especially one that isn’t my home:)leeashely

It was so fun capturing Megan in the studio despite bad weather.  She brought in her wedding gown and looked amazing!  It was great to see you, Megan.  I hope you and Ben had a perfect day!  I can’t wait to hear about it.

Wedding season is in full swing here at JDP!  I took two weekends off mid-August and am excited to get back at it this weekend.  It is such a fantastic thing to share the happiest day ever with two people in love and capture them looking their best!  As I was going through images for inspiration last night I came across these.  Have a great weekend everyone!  Yay sun!jdp54-copy1

I love this image. See how Michelle is looking up at him? This was one of the most intimate and moving ceremonies ever.

Jessica and Young

Posted by jennifer in Bridal, Jennifer's Weddings, Wedding on March 11th, 2009 No Comments »

It was stunning, the details were so very sentimental…we had wind, rain, sunshine and LOVE.  Lots of it!  What a great day full of amazing moments.  I have really gotten to know Jessica and Young over this past year and couldn’t be more thrilled for them.  It truly was a spectacular day of friends and family in the intimate setting of one of my favorite venues, Laurel Hall.  Lisa from Memory Makers and her staff did a fantastic job of setting everything up.  Jim Cerone, my absolute favorite Wedding Entertainment Director created a flawless and fun atmosphere.  I’ll post a picture of his new speaker system.  It is so sleek you barely notice it and it sounds incredible!  What a difference a GREAT DJ can make.  Kathy’s Kloset did a great job on the flowers!  Kiralee made Jessica look beautiful (yet again from her bridal shoot) and Full Blown Productions was fun to work with and I can’t wait to see the video!  Paige from Sweet Seductions did a great job on two amazing cakes (more details to come later).

Jessica had quite a hand in designing and adding so many handmade details…it really was a very special wedding with a lot of thought and heart put into it from everyone.  Young came up to me after the wedding and told me he considers me not only to be his photographer, but a dear friend.  Right back at ya!  It is such a great thing to spend a day with two people you genuinely like and we found we have so much in common.   I couldn’t be happier for you two!  Thank you for having us.
