Emily – Yorktown High Class of 2011
She knows what she wants in life and plans to go to law school. Beautiful, vibrant and headed for greatness it was such a joy spending time with Emily and her mom, Kim. We went ALL OVER shooting as she had the ultimate design session planned. Emily knew she wanted to look her best so had Dawne Swain come to the studio and work her magic with makeup and hair, not that Emily needed much of either. Dawne is really amazing at creating a natural look so girls don’t feel as if they have it “caked” on, but I’ve seen her crazy funky styling and that is fun as well! For seniors booking we now offer makeup services with Dawne. Having an artist there to create a look really adds a certain punch the images. Enjoy your senior year, Emily!

Emily- Cathedral High School Class of 2011
It is that time of year again and how happy I was to share in Emily’s special shoot. Love her red hair (the whole family shares that beautiful trait). I know this year is going to be full of adventure and fun. Emily is so ready for all the world has to offer her and is going to succeed in anything she chooses to do (I’m rooting for physical therapy, Emily!). Go class of 2011!

Vincent
It was such a pleasure to see Vincent in the studio last week. I have known his family for about 9 years now and I feel pretty old to be taking Vince’s senior pics! He has grown up to be such a respectful and bright young man. He is going to be a great engineer! Thanks for toughing the cold.

Jordan-inspired vintage shoot
When I met with Jordan I knew we would have a great time shooting together. She wanted an authentic and very vintage shoot and not the “vintage” that is a huge trend right now. Our inspiration was the one and only Audrey Hepburn. She has always been a person I have looked up to and thanks to Jordan I now have her picture hanging above my desk for daily reminders of what a classy lady is all about. Love it! These are just a few of the images we got, there are so many more I will definitely update our senior site with www.f8seniors.com

A.J.
I love senior sessions, that is no secret! They are so fun and fresh. A.J. was game for anything and even braved some rain as we shot. Thanks A.J. for inspiring me! Some time with you was just what I needed to get the week going.

Alex
So you know you are getting older when kids you shot years ago when they were still in braces and losing teeth return for senior portraits. Alex, such a pleasure seeing you all grown-up! You are so fun and have grown to be a very handsome and caring young man. I just know you will succeed in whatever you do. Kristin, great to see you again…last one leaves the nest!

Luke, Olivia, Chris Ferro, and some love!
We have been quite busy these days so I have neglected to blog quite a few sessions. For now here are some past models and future posts on the way! Luke, the most awesome senior ever…Luke’s father owns the barber shop below my studio. We love our barber shop and what a fine young man Luke has grown to be! Class of 2010 has a lot of wonderful young people in it!

I love his choice of clothing here! Stylin' senior class pres!

One of our favorite models is Miss Olivia. Her dad is Derek Jones of Ameriana bank whom we are so thankful to for being so professional on our loan for the new place. Miss Olivia is as beautiful as her mom!

Coming soon...Emily and Kyle!
Chris is on his way to stardom and stopped in from New York before visiting an agency up in Chicago. He is one of the nicest models I have ever worked with and extremely natural. He is definitely going to go far! Right now my commercial site is on hold, but next year we will launch a site dedicated to Vignette Studio by Jennifer Driscoll. This division of the company focuses on provided artful and professional images in the industry. With a lifestyle approach to head shots companies can share a more friendly and professional image with their target audience. We can also provide more formal executive images of all kinds. I love the challenge of commercial shooting. This division of the company is also dedicated to those in the fashion industry.

Sam
It is so fun for me to watch families grow! Two years ago I photographed Sam’s older brother, Jordan. He is off at college doing very well! Sam is so down to earth and very casual. Her church is very important to her so we first went there for pictures and then off to enjoy some of the fabulous light we were having that evening! Congratulations, Sam! May your senior year shine bright:)

Mom and Sam!

Elizabeth
Another wonderful senior shot by Jordyn!! Elizabeth is a GREAT model. Jordyn graduated from the same high school that Elizabeth will graduate from in 2010. They had a lot in common and from the looks of the images a great time shooting. I think she looks a bit like Kate Winslet… Good luck on your senior year, Elizabeth! May it be the best ever!
