I know I’m a little late posting this December 2011 wedding, but the winter is the time when we hibernate a bit and work on internal things here at the studio. So I’m ready to get caught up on wedding blogs:) Nicole was a super organized bride and with the help of Darcie Kornmeyer of CCP her wedding day was very relaxed! We had fun traveling around downtown taking pictures. December can be a really great month to marry! The ceremony was at SS Peter and Paul Cathedral, oh how I love those gold doors they have! The reception was at the grand Union Station at Crowne Plaza.

Andrea was one of the prettiest brides and seeing her as a mother she is even more beautiful than ever. It is so beautiful to see Jon and Andrea as parents. Getting to share in their wedding day was pretty amazing and it just keeps getting better! Baby Tyce was such a good little sport. We had a few feeding breaks during the session, but each time Andrea gave him a little milk he went right back to sleep for me! I could photograph newborn babies all day just for the chance to hold them a little.

I’ve had the pleasure of capturing Miss Riya’s first year of life and was delighted I got to join the big birthday bash with all her friends and family. Puja and her sister, Payal, are very close and I love seeing them! Riya’s party was full of love and laughter with a lot of family traveling in from all over and friends joining in on the fun. Watching Simran, Jasmine (cousins) and little Riya run all over it was evident they enjoy all their favorite people in one place. Payal was in charge of the “event design” and coordination and the kicker is she did this all from Michigan!! Puja and her family moved in to their new home just DAYS before the party. Props to you, Puja, for being so brave!! I know how important it was to Puja and Vishal to have a warm gathering where they could bring everyone together. I really enjoyed meeting the special people in their life. Doesn’t it look like it was a great party?

How cute is this little guy? I was so happy when Kari called me and told me they had a baby!! He is just as sweet as his parents:) Kari and Cory are two of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Noah is so lucky to have them to raise him. I just love looking at these pictures! We love them so much we have ordered a sample of a wall story to show here in the studio with our new Luxe frames. Can’t wait for them to arrive!

Scott and Jennifer are so entertaining together! Spending time with them is kind of like being on a movie or theater set, which is great because that is how they met! These two come with lots of tricks in their pockets and much enthusiasm for life and most importantly LOVE. I feel like I walked backwards in time to the 50s when people were a little bit more carefree and unburdened by technology (did I say these two do NOT have Facebook accounts?? Close your jaw now).
I can’t wait for their wedding because I know it will be an imaginative and inventive expression of how they feel for each other. Thanks for choosing me to be part of your day!

I have such wonderful memories with Clint and Rebecca, but I can tell that this coming year is going to be full of some of the greatest moments ever now that their daughter, Klaudia, has arrived. There was a lot of love and preparation that preceded her birth and now that she is here I just know these wonderful parents are soaking up all the joy and grace that comes with new life. I couldn’t be happier for you now that you are a mother, Rebecca! Your beauty and kindness is surely going to shine in your child and you and Clint are going to be the best parents ever. She is an absolute doll!! Can’t wait for our next shoot!!
