It is hard to believe that the 12 year old girl I met years ago is now graduating from high school! I’ve known Becca and her family for quite a while. She has grown up to be quite a beautiful young lady and is still sweet as ever. Becca is a caring friend, great student and serious about basketball. I really admire her dedication! Her family is pretty amazing as well so no surprise that Becca has grown up to be such an amazing person. I just know she is going to do well in college and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes! Maybe we might be watching her in the WNBA?

Mariah is an awesome model! Besides being gorgeous she is one amazing soccer player and terribly fun to be around. Her beautiful smile accompanied by such a sweet personality is refreshing. She is humble, spirited and a hard working young lady.

The camera room has really come to life in the past few months as we indulge ourselves in shopping for whimsical and totally out of the ordinary purchases from antique stores, tag sales and the occasional floor sample at Crate and Barrel (love that store!!). I don’t know how I am going to ever stop myself from shopping for fun things to use during shoots! I might have to hold a tag sale monthly just to clear out what we are tired of shooting on! Seniors make me want to shop for things daily. Each session is unique and special. Watching young adults venture out into the world to share their many talents is inspiring to say the least.

She is now one! Looking forward to making a book of Kinsey’s first year. She is absolutely adorable! Kinsey was born very premature and I’m so amazed at her strength and milestones she has reached! Such a special little girl…

Leslie and Conor planned things from afar! Leslie’s sister married just over a year ago and so when Conor asked for Leslie’s hand in marriage dad must have really liked him to say yes and plan yet another beautiful family event (well Susan and Leslie did most of the work with help from Deborah Bowman:)). These two could not be more perfectly matched. Not only are they both tall and gorgeous, but kind, sweet, compassionate and very humble. Leslie was one of the most shy brides I’ve ever photographed! Her humbleness and sweet nature make her so endearing. I know they are enjoying their move to California! I hope to see you soon! Can’t wait to get rocking on the wedding album. Check out all the purple details!

Marissa and Ted had a great time planning their wedding and how amazing all the details turned out to be. The Columbia Club is one of our favorite venues to photograph and this was our last wedding with the fabulous Gerald Joyce, who recently relocated to New Orleans. It is no wonder he was named Martha Stewart’s Planner of the year! Marissa looked beautiful and how fun are her shoes? Marissa, I hope you enjoyed the rest of summer and are ready to start another school year. We wish you two many years of happiness!

One of my favorite banks is Ameriana. Partly because they were willing to believe in me (thank you, Derek) when I was looking for a loan to build our beautiful new studio, but also because of their commitment to the communities they do business in. I’ve been fortunate enough to do work with them over the past year and it has been rewarding for both Ameriana and myself! I logged in to pay some bills tonight and this is what I found. A shot taken at a recent shoot I did for them. Can’t wait to see the next community wall for the west side. I’ve never seen a bank so dedicated to visual aspects of their branches. Every branch has murals featuring local people and favorite places. I enjoy a hometown feel and look forward to watching this great bank with amazing customer service grow keeping their “small town” feel! If you need a commercial loan or are looking for a great bank where you feel like you can just camp out, drink coffee, and use your laptop for a few hours contact Derek Jones at Ameriana.

Jennifer, AMAZING photos! Outstanding job! You beautifully captured the essence of their special day.
