I was so honored when Melissa and Nick chose me as their photographer. We were such a good fit for each other! So many elements of this day I would personally have as my own. Nick and Melissa have known each other for a very long time, but it wasn’t right away that they started dating. I’m glad they did! Their families live just a mile or two down the road from each other in Zionsville so it was only natural that they would have their ceremony at Nick’s family home, which couldn’t have been more perfect! Having an outdoor ceremony is risky, but I admire their courage and it paid off! We did have all the seats covered with trash bags and right before the ceremony the rain stopped, the heavens parted and beautiful sun poured through the clouds. A sure sign that this wedding was meant to be!Mitch Daniels was their officiant. I am amazed at Governor Daniels’ commitment to Nick and Melissa…only the day before their wedding did he have an unfortunately accident that left him with many stitches! We have photoshopped that out:)

The Scottish Rite looked amazing with Melissa’s attention to detail and Marjan’s guidance. Jim Cerone created the most perfect evening with his amazing talents. I was impressed when he started their first dance so seamlessly from the dance floor after addressing their guests in the balcony. Jim is by far the most sophisticated and classy D.J. in town. The dance floor was packed all night long!

Thank you Jennifer I can’t tell you how much I love all the photos. You are so incredibly talented!

Jennifer, this wedding couldn’t have been captured any better! Your photographs are amazing. I wanted to let you know the bridesmaid dresses are by Chicago designer Anna Fong. You can find her collection of works at Cerato Boutique.

When I first met with Kyle I could tell she is a “picture” person who values deeply the memory of her friends and family. She has a heart of gold and Caleb absolutely adores her! I’ve really enjoyed getting to know these two and the details of their day really came together to be exactly what Kyle dreamed for her wedding day. Darcie, was there to help and guide Kyle and the day couldn’t have been more wonderful. The day was colorful and festive, just like Kyle! I love it when I see details come together to be a perfect match with the vision that a client has.

Check out these shoes Kyle bought while on a trip in Vegas! Whoa!! She didn’t walk far in them!

Jake and Anne are a perfect pair! I always enjoy spending time with them and have had the pleasure of working with them on commercial projects for their uniform company. Now we get to have fun with people pictures! This shoot was crazy fun with loads of animals as you can see and YES, those are raccoons. Pictures are worth a thousand words so I’ll let them do the talking:)  Can’t wait for their wedding next May!!

Kyle proposed at home during the holidays in 2009. He dressed their little chihuahua in a shirt that said “would you marry my daddy?”. Of course he had a sparkly GORGEOUS ring! Brittany’s second dress was an afterthought that she HAD to have after trying it on, on a whim at the BCBG store. Second dresses are SO fun!!  Brittany looked so gorgeous.  Congratulations you two!  Hope Aruba was amazing.

I’m so lucky to get to hang out with little Everett…oh and Blue II, of course:) Blue’s dad, Michael, and I have collaborated on a few sessions. Those of you receiving mail from Butler might have noticed the recent “wow” factor to Blue’s picture now that he is a professional model. He doesn’t drool as much as he used to and can tolerate sitting for long periods of time. He does occasionally like to speak his mind while in front of the camera, but I don’t mind and obviously neither did little Everett. I’m so honored to be Blue’s photographer!

Blue II went for a walk with my parents, who were visiting during the shoot, so I could focus on Everett (no pun intended there…). They took him for ice cream and many of the patrons at Handel’s said, “Gosh, he looks just like the Butler bulldog, Blue”. Indeed! Thanks, Michael and Tiffany for sharing your family with me!! I look forward to seeing you guys again sometime.

I always love United Way events because the people I work with are so caring and fun. This event was extra special because the amazing David Jackson handled all the details for the gracious hosts. The entertainment was exceptional (for you IU people). This event was a true celebration of how helping United Way can lead our youth to accomplish great things. My favorite part of the evening was hearing what each of the singers is studying at IU and how they plan to make their way in this world. Fun was had by all!

Marc Lohr and his amazing team of designers creates some of the most FUN and invigorating workspaces I’ve ever seen. I always love seeing what they have come up with and enjoyed spending a little time with Carrie O’Grady to capture this space. I will admit that the leg on the table wasn’t their idea, but rather a great example of the sense of humor the folks at Mobi have. Indianapolis is a wonderful place for corporations to nest and it is great to see business grow quickly here and expand. All new businesses should call on Lohr Design to create organized and fresh workspaces for their employees to SUCCEED in. Love it!

Awesome, Jen!

Thanks, Kevin! They are a really neat company. One thing not pictured is the larger than life picture of David Hasselhoff. They have quite a sense of humor! He is pictured LARGE with two fluffy dogs. It is hilarious.

Carrie O'Grady

Thank you for your kind words, Jennifer!! It was such a pleasure working with you! You’re fun, quick, and very talented! We were so pleased with how the photos came out! If only we had gotten a shot of The Hoff… :)

Imagine you are 13 years old and you travel all over this great country entertaining and sharing your musical talent. Every kid’s dream, right? Jeremy is living it and we shall be seeing him soon on The Ellen Degeneres show or Jay Leno. He hasn’t decided which he will say yes to. He really is the most charming young man and can pick and grin ’til the cows go home! We gathered for an awesome shoot for his new CD cover. I’ll let everyone know when it releases so you can share in the fun. How about our dog model, Whiskey? Any more perfect name for an animal?
