I knew these two were going to be a blast when I first met them. Rich is such a kind and considerate groom and Joni is equally as sweet and thoughtful. I’m so thrilled they found each other and I am honored to have been such an intimate part of their wedding day. Rich was all about his Purdue football! I love how much time they allowed for pictures and for a November wedding we had such awesome weather. The staff at the Stadium was awesome and it is always a pleasure to shoot at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception. What a beautiful start to a wonderful life together! Thank you, Rich and Joni!

Maui is not only a beautiful place to be, but a beautiful dog as well! Jake and Anne are two of the sweetest people I know and I was so happy to meet Maui, their furry child. Maui is more than 10 years old! For a woman this age (in dog years) she looks pretty darn good:)

I love invitations and paper products. Jackie with Ten Thirteen Design dropped off some fun invitations for me to photograph. Some of these are from weddings I’ve shot and I know how happy the brides were to work with Jackie. She is extremely organized and genuinely excited about design and paper:) One of the sweetest people I know!

I absolutely love working on commercial projects. Shooting covers for Indy’s Child and Cincinnati Parent this month was fun. This wasn’t the first time I’ve worked with this wonderful organization. Today we shot for the March issues, but I won’t ruin the surprise!

I love it when you meet with a bride and instantly know you are going to LOVE everything about their wedding. Melissa and Nick are a really fun couple. Growing up just down the street from each other their romance didn’t blossom until going out with mutual friends and realizing quickly they are a perfect match. Melissa has a quiet sweetness about her I just love. She is definitely a girl with style and great taste (so is her mom, Chris). They are getting married in the backyard of Nick’s family home, which is magical and the kind of wedding brides dream of. Their reception at the Scottish Rite will be luxurious and so very classy! I can’t wait.
When we met for the engagement session we had so much trouble scheduling and lo and behold the day we had planned on was very rainy and wet. We turned a wet and rainy day into one awesome shoot and didn’t let the weather keep us down. Melissa and Nick, I can’t wait! Only a few short months to go!
