I am so happy for our friends Ben and Carrie–they just had baby #2, Levi. Little Lyla is going to love life as a big sister. He is so adorable and how lucky they are to have one of each now. I loved that Ben has “art” on his body and we were able to use it with little Levi for the shoot. Congratulations to you guys! We love you all so much. The girls can’t wait to meet little Levi and play with Lyla when we get back from vacation.

It is always a joy when a family gives me artistic freedom to capture a moment in time. Caroline is a beautiful ballerina, model and mom extraordinaire. What an amazing and brave family they are. I say brave because they aren’t afraid to walk a path less traveled and search for a deeper meaning in life. Little Bill wandered around the studio uninhibited and loved to play dress up as if he was going to dance in a production. I love how free he is. We were limited to studio for the session, but the simplicity of my subjects brought out such beautiful soulfulness. I absolutely love these images and can’t wait to select one to print in a large format for the new studio to display. This shoot filled my cup. Thanks Caroline, Bill and little Bill.

Gorgeous, giggly and gentle come to mind when I think of Elyse. This was another shoot that filled my cup full. I love capturing babies partly because mine are all grown up and I love everything about babies, but this age….never get tired of it. Elyse is absolutely one of the most beautiful souls I have ever photographed. She was so easy and so joyful. Every look she gave me was genuine and I could tell her little heart was smiling. Jeff and Megan are so lucky to have her! Thank you for sharing her with me.

These two have become great friends. I don’t get to see them nearly enough, but am so happy to have them in my life. They are two of the most thoughtful people ever. I’ll never forget them bringing over a cake for my Emily when she was sick. You two are so perfect together and I wish you many many more years of happiness. Happy Anniversary!

Hard to believe it has been 3 months already! Nixon is growing like a weed. I love shooting on location. It was great to be in their home. Thanks for having me. He did so well! Can’t wait for the 6 month shoot:)

Tons of fun in the studio this week. Rebecca and Clint have been married for half a year now and this is their first child:) Loved their wedding and can’t wait for more “children” in the future!

Sometimes people have to plan their weddings from out of state and I can appreciate what a hard decision it is to select a photographer when you can’t actually meet with them in person. I was honored when April and Matt chose me. Meeting them for the first time during their engagement session I realized what a perfect fit we are! Matt and April are a good match as well! Ellie came along for a few pictures. I can’t wait for their wedding day this summer. I love these two already.
