I first met April at my bank and at the time she wasn’t engaged to Brad, but they had been dating for quite some time. Because I am a wedding photographer often “wedding talk” does come up and I remember asking April about Brad and she said no doubt he is her best friend and definitely the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with. He proposed while they were on vacation and I was so happy to hear that they were engaged!! I am so delighted I got to share in their wedding day. Together they made their wedding day such an amazing celebration for the start of their life together. April planned the wedding quite fast too and look how great things turned out!! I’m so happy for both of you! The details were amazing, but even more amazing is how perfectly you fit together.
Some amazing people that made this day happen:

I always love seeing the Cullumbers! Anja is such a sweet mom and one of my clients that I wish I just had a few extra hours in the week so I could go to lunch with her. Nola is so sweet and slightly shy and yet lights up the room when she wants to! Landon is full of spunk and this was a pretty awesome shoot for him too.

It’s been a very busy month here at JDP and we haven’t had as much time to share with you the wonderful weddings and portrait sessions from recent months. Katie and Tug were super fun to work with. I met Katie at Kimberly and Bill’s wedding last winter and am SO happy I got to share yet another day with this fun group. As you can see we had a beautiful day and Katie and Tug were willing to step out and be spontaneous…even if it meant being hundreds of feet up in the air.

A perfect match was made on October 15, 2011! Lauren and Tom glow together. From the first night I met them I realized they are truly gracious people. Tom was so curious about my business, the studio and how hard I’ve worked to get here and Lauren’s e-mails throughout the year with her cheerful personality…warm my heart! They are both happy for ME and how well things are going and that is mind boggling that they would be so considerate of someone who is there to provide a service. I can speak for all the wedding professionals that were a part of this beautiful day that we all felt the love and enjoyed how much Lauren and Tom appreciated our hard work!! The day didn’t seem like work given how fun their wedding party was and how well-organized things were (thank you, Darcie). Enjoy these wedding pictures. I think I’ve gotten carried away with how many I’ve included and honestly I couldn’t bring myself to convert many of these to black and white given how beautiful the day was!! Since it was a blizzard when we shot their engagement session (see very bottom picture) it seems only fitting that they should have a perfect fall day.

They even make a snowy day look magical!! Congratulations you two. I can’t wait to watch your family grow:)Venue: St. Elizabeth Seton/Crowne Plaza

Event Coordinator: Darcie Kornmeyer, CCP

Videographer: Jake Stutzman

Cake: Casey Frederick

Florist: Tiffany Mullen, Circle City Designers

Band: Cool2Duel (dueling pianos, owner Noel Leaman)
