Ally and Wes | Wedding at Mustard Seed Gardens

I have been waiting for this wedding all year! I knew Allyson was working hard to include so many sentimental details in her day. Everything had meaning and was so pretty! Mustard Seed Gardens was the perfect venue for them to say their vows and start their life together as husband and wife. We couldn’t have had a more perfect day with the weather. Normally in the month of July you are expecting hot weather, but it was so beautiful! After Ally was in her wedding dress she was practically jumping up and down with excitement to see Wes! They chose to wait until the ceremony to see each other (we knew we had plenty of light and time for photographs after). As I was leaving her to take pictures of Wes and his friends, Ally pulled me aside and said, “Please tell Wes that I can’t WAIT to see him!”. I really do love capturing a wedding day, but when two people are clearly SO excited to start their life together it makes my heart melt!

I loved their hand written vows, the way they remembered those that have passed and couldn’t be with them, the cake topper that was Ally’s grandmother’s, the lace on her veil was made by her grandmother along with over 900 crystals attached, the popcorn table, Ally’s special perfume (also worn by Kate Middleton on her wedding day), the first time her dad saw her, mom’s heart shining at her baby girl, the list could go on and on! It was such a sweet wedding and I’m so happy for Wes and Ally! Enjoy these touching and “pretty” pictures!  It doesn’t hurt that they had the most beautiful wedding party ever!

Also, my best and most wonderful professional photographer in training, Anna Driscoll, took many of these amazing photographs. Some of my favorite are the bridesmaids waiting to go down the aisle, the flower girl looking through the window, some GREAT ceremony closeups, the black cat, barn and cake details, the shot of Ally smiling at her father as he sees her for the first time and many other wonderful images! Her heart is in it and that makes such a difference!

    Hi,
I was just wondering where you got that clutch from? The one I’m guessing was given to the mother of the groom. It had a photo lining.
    Thanks,
    Catherine
